MAN IS SINFUL:
”For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God”
CHRIST PAID THE PENALTY
”But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us”
CHRIST OFFERS SALVATION
”Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me”
SIN HAS A PENALTY
”For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord
SALVATION A FREE GIFT
”For it is by grace you have been saved through faith…and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God…..not by works, so that no-one can boast”
WE MUST RECEIVE AND ACCEPT HIM
”Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God”
Q: What must I do to be saved and what does it mean to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ?
Answer: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10: 9-10
PRAYER: Dear Lord God in Heaven, I come to you today as a sinner. I am asking you to please forgive me and cleanse me from all my sins. I accept the Lord Jesus Christ now as my Lord and saviour. I forgive all those who have hurt me.
In obedience to your Word, I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that God has raised Him from the dead. you have said in your Word which cannot lie that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.[Rom.10:13] Lord Jesus, I call upon you today to write my name in the book of life and give me a purpose in life. I believe I am saved; Amen!
If you sincerely prayed these words and believed in your heart the Lord Jesus Christ, you are at this moment saved, and your name is written down in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
